Surprisingly good coverage for being so lightweight. I forget I’m wearing it bc it’s so thin. I don’t know how to censor this, but when I wear this foundation my boyfriend says I look like I have an “after ___ glow” (fill in the blank).

Skin context: I have VERY dry skin with constantly congested pores. I’m still figuring out my exfoliating routine. All concealer/foundations become patchy and flakey on my skin. This foundation used to do the same until I started using chemical exfoliant and also a face oil (Kheils midnight recovery oil, only bc I owned it already). I urge my fellow dry-skin ppl to try a face oil!!! Also, I have a lot of peach fuzz and this product doesn’t accentuate it at all, very pleased.

How I use this foundation: I make sure my skin has been exfoliated that day. I use my moisturizer and then my face oil. I wait for the oil to soak in a bit before continuing. Then I dispense a single pump of the foundation onto the back of my hand and use my other hand to dot the product around my face. I’ve found that using a brush makes the foundation get caught on the dry parts of my skin, so instead I use my fingers to pat the product around like you would with a sponge. I don’t set it or anything, eventually it will dry down and look natural. I like how thin the product is but how easily and smoothly it blends. It’s honestly a joy to put on and I do not say that lightly!

Color: I got this foundation in shade Oslo; it oxidizes, so make sure you give your swatches time to dry down and see if it’s really a good match.

Other product shades I wear: I wear NYX bear with me concealer in light, it’s a perfect match. I have the tower 28 concealer in shade BU and I find it ever so slightly too warm for me.

Overall: I would probably buy it again but I’m partially motivated by the color alone and not just the performance. it’s one of the few foundations that I can find a shade match in. Is it worth the money? Not sure! I haven’t been able to try that many foundat

Recently got this. I had mac studio fix previously but needed a new shade for winter and wasn't in love with the way it looked on my skin. So the gal at Ulta recommended this one for my combination, 32 year old skin. Love that i can build it up to full coverage or wear it really sheer for a natural finish depending on my preference, also i do not need concealer to cover scarring this covers so well when i buff a lil more foundation onto those particular areas. Even if i buff some more under my eyes it looks nice for an everyday natural look rather than a thick concealer. I DO have large pores and acne scarring snd it looks beautiful on my skin. Ive heard some women say it enhances their pores and textured skin but imo a specified primer would help some with that but you could only do so much regardless ya know.. So ive just accepted my skin the way it is and it looks beautiful on my skin not cakey. I do not set my skin, and after the end of a long day like mad woman, with 4 kiddos, it still looks so beautiful and covers my flaws so freakin well. Hope this review helps. :) also ps she color matched me perfectly and on my skin it does not oxidize. Only did a bit once when i put too much mac primer under. Try it you just may like it. And if not you can always return.

skin tint for the last 5ish years just to not look cakey. I was primarily using the ilia skin tint and although I love it my oily skin only became worse with it although it really did last all day. Thos is the only product that has come close to its stay power, without over covering or looking too thick but covering just enough to even my very pale complexion that is acne prone. It’s got the most beautiful dewy finish that immediately drys down after it’s patted in. And it lasts all day. I’m never going to find a foundation that doesn’t go a tiny bit into my smile lines, but this one has the faintest line that can easily be buffed out with your hands. The most beautiful foundation but skin I’ve ever used. And not to mention it really does last all day, no lie whatsoever especially on an oily girl who can use 3-4 of those grease strips and saturate them through a day with normal makeup wear. Powder applies beautifully on top and with small touch ups through the day if needed. Count me as impressed. Especially with their shade being light enough and the correct under tones. I’ve always been a nars girl generally but this is one good product.

I have been using Sheer Glow in Deauville for quite some time which I love as an evening out kinda foundation. I have fair-light olive skin with yellow tone. Deauville in Sheer Glow is a tad too pink on me but noticed this one to have a bit darker shades despite the same names so got a sample in Gobi to see if that could be better (also got Deauville which I am comparing to Sheer Glow Deauville in an attached pic). Colour itself is great for olive skin and green tones but it was still too light unfortunately and Deauville in this compared to Sheer Glow is much more peachy which wasn't good for my olive skin. So a bit disappointed there really was no shade match in the end.

I had massive hopes for the foundation itself and was stoked to finally try it. I have to say I was quite disappointed. Sheer Glow is not very glowy despite the name so was expecting this to be. But in the end it was very matte, just less covering power and it didn't hide my rosacea fully which is mostly the only thing I try to cover on my face with foundation as I have no blemishes. So don't know how it would perform to hide them. It did blur my pores quite nicely though. But all in all having a bit too light shade as well, I looked ghostly and not glowing with some redness still coming through. And the foundation didn't feel as nice on the skin as I expected.
