December 4, 2024This is our second monitor of the same series, that's how good it is! As a general purpose monitor, it works great, good picture quality, easy to incorporate your own sound systems, compatible with just about every device. When we use it for movies and shows, it's not too dark, you see all the details without it being too bright. In work, the is no input lag, the image is clear and crisp, and there is no lag when moving images or your mouse around. It also shines in gaming, where it is a simple, highly effective monitor for a perfect price. Today, most screens for gaming come with many trade offs, low input lag but screen tear, blurry motion but it works at low framerates. This screen just works perfectly, no trade offs. There is no screen tear, motion blur, input lag, or frame rate issues. It works perfectly at up to 60fps, which is my go to for cinematic gaming. It also has AMD Freesync, which is a huge plus that some gaming screens dont have yet. The same advantages for films work for playing cinematic games too. Definitely the only screen I trust for gaming atm. Plus, it is so much cheaper than most gaming screens. For the setup, this one is on a mobile cart for when we are either working or watching something, and it fits perfectly and is easy to setup and to move around.
[Rewarded Review] This product is everything you need.

April 26, 2024This monitor has everything you would expect in one plus everything that you wouldn't. The first time I sat down after installation, first of all it was the first time I had connected a monitor with HDMI and that was so convenient. Then I powered my PC on and was blown away after pressing the auto picture feature. It was the most beautiful I have ever seen my display on my PC in my entire life, and I work hard on my PC for the overall imaging solution. I used to have to put so much processor output into my graphics just so those rinky dink monitors could keep up with what I was running, but not Samsung's amazing piece of tech. It was like they knew my PC before they were even linked. I just sit there and enjoyed the beauty of that display for the rest of that evening. Seeing what else it could do that I had missed out on by using the competitors useless devices. Not anymore, because Samsung has a new lifelong customer. Thank you Samsung for showing me what is really going on. For you out there that have any doubts about this product or any of Samsung's other technologies. Trust me when I say that I've been using this stuff since the early 90's. I used to be a technology product specialist for Circuit City. I knew they were out there and I'm sorry it took me this long to actually try it for myself after all the amazing things that I've heard. It's all true. Amazing product backed by an amazing company. You've got to get something of Samsung's and try it. You won't be sorry.
Don't touch the settings.

October 12, 2024The principle by which the monitor registers the signal remains a mystery to me. If you specify in the monitor settings that the signal is transmitted via HDMI, it will still look for an analog input at startup. If you change the login method during use (for example, we logged in, but the monitor does not show a picture right away and we change the input to HDMI in its settings), the picture will not be picked up, it will not be picked up even if you turn the monitor on and off, in my case, even rebooting the computer helped in 1 case out of 6). In other words, it is completely unclear what state the screen is in that did not receive an image right away. Is it on? Off? Looking for a source? Just standing and waiting for a reboot? In my case, I got an adequate response from the monitor only by disconnecting it from the power supply for 30 seconds and starting it after the system started. After such machinations, to put it mildly, there is no desire to go into the settings and change anything there, it is scary that as a result the monitor simply will not light up. But these are connection and setup problems. Regarding the image, everything is clear, bright and generally wonderful.
[Rewarded Review] Wow! A fantastic monitor with a great picture

January 11, 2024I mainly use this monitor for work - sometimes personal. This replaced two 24" monitors and what a beautiful site to have no gap in the middle anymore. And the curved nature of the monitor reduced the amount of head turning I need to do which is helpful for me personally.
The screen is crisp, clear, and clean. It comes with a lot of options to change the look (e.g. brightness, color depth, energy saving, eye saver, etc.). Nothing was mentioned in the description but there are speakers in this monitor! The annoying thing, though, is you control the volume via the multi dial in the back corner which to me is not convenient. But the speakers sound good and may eliminate my Creative Pebbles for more desk space.
I have played games (e.g. Torchlight 3) and it was awesome full screen. But the screen is big enough to have an area for chatting, your game screen, etc. I am not an avid gamer so for what I do the monitor was very responsive.
For work, this monitor is amazing! I cannot believe how much easier it is to do things with one large monitor screen. Especially copying and pasting between apps. And if needed, I can open an app full screen - I am a scheduler so files with a lot of columns can be viewed with less scrolling.
Overall, this is a monitor I highly recommend!
