I’m a size 12/14 on bottom with a small waist and wide hips. I wasn’t sure what to expect with this skirt but I was in need of a pencil skirt and I can tell you that this has truly exceeded my expectations! The material of this skirt is very thick, high quality, and stretchy. The material is actually so high quality that I don’t even need to wear a shaper with this skirt. It fits like a glove and that’s a lot coming from someone with wide hips. It’s hard to find something that fits in all the right places. If you’re built like me, I’d suggest going by your waist measurement instead of the hip measurement; I’m a 30 in. waist and 43 in. hip and the large fit me perfectly!

Perfect. Seriously perfect. For any occasion.
With heels and a great float blouse. With tights and a no go jacket. With a sweater and boots. I followed the comments and reviews and the sizes. The fabric is just right. It fits nicely, but not tight. I'm a curvy, 65yo, 5'9" and 165bs. I got the 1X. It hits mid knee. Flattering. Doesn't ride up because of my smaller waist! Fits perfectly after one washing.

I purchased two skirts - black & wine and I was very disappointed. They run small. The material is not what I expected. Poor quality. I also purchased two blazers. Perhaps it’s the “Hybrid & Company” clothes that are not made with quality fabric. Not sure, but all of my 4 garments had this label on them & I returned all 4. Even the label on the garments looked cheap. Very disappointed because Lord & Taylor is know for their quality clothes.

I’m astonished that L&T would carry such a poor quality item. I discovered this skirt is also sold on Amazon. I mistakenly assumed I’d get a quality item based on the retailer, but alas… no. Wide band at the top serves no real purpose (i.e. tummy control) and it looks and feels cheap. Very disappointing, plus the return fee make it not worth my while, so guess I’m stuck.
Don’t shop here often, and certainly won’t after this experience.
