December 27, 2024Many of us use two different shades of makeup depending on the season, for me i’m naturally light skinned pale unless I apply sunless tanner or get some sun during the warmer months. All too often. my makeup collection would have bottles of foundations too dark to wear unless applied with sunless first and sitting with a product you cannot use all the time grinds my gears! Or when a shade is perhaps a little too warm of an undertone when perhaps you should’ve purchased a shade more neutral. Well, step in and welcome the blue camo color correcting concealer. I’ve had a basic knowledge of color correcting but often it’s hard to
find quality products to do so. I used a warm medium tan shade of serum foundation but before applying the makeup- i applied the blue cc onto my skin and tried to blend it best as possible before applying the makeup. It did indeed add more cool tones making the foundation once again useable . My only qualm and this could be chalked up to a learning curve, is that the Camo cc is doe tipped application making it a
little difficult to blend entirely into the face makeup and my initial application ended up looking ruddy/ muddy in some areas . however, i’m determined to make it work - next i’ll try mixing my makeup shade with the blue cc and blending before applying using them both together . Regardless the $4 price point makes it worth the try. Eager to try the peach and orange for under eyes .

August 1, 2024I have occasional blemishes and red spots that regular concealer and foundation don't really hide too well but when I tried the Camo Color Corrector in green color, I got effective results. The green really does neutralize any redness you have and makes any blemishes less noticeable. You apply the color corrector after your moisturizer and before applying your concealer and foundation.
The green color corrector comes in a 0.09 fl oz (2.8 mL) tube with a soft applicator and provides full coverage with a satin finish that is long-lasting and crease-resistant. Ingredients include hyaluronic acid and rose flower water which plumps, smoothes and brightens the skin.
I thought the green color corrector had good staying power and lasted a whole day without any smearing or discoloration.

March 22, 2024I am a biracial woman (black & white) and since like high school, i've been plagued with deep set/dark under eyes. To a point where people would ask if I had gotten sleep that night 🥴 I was afraid of color correcting because I honestly didnt think it would make a difference but i am actually really shocked. With just plain concealer, i noticed the product beginning to not conceal as much a few hours into the day. I use the peach under my concealer and foundation and it completely blurs and brightens everything. My only con is I wish the peach had more orange to it (I feel im too light for actual orange) and I wish the product were a bit more hydrating. After a day of work, i do notice it settles into my fine lines but not a big deal. Would definitely repurchase.

February 5, 2023I would like to say I am a beauty enthusiast. I have more than enough products for each level of skincare and a well thought out makeup routine, specifically my one true nemisis; Foundation. I could try a million different brands. In a hundred different tones and it never quite matches my color. I have pale skin with warm undertones and have never really worked with color corrector before. I did some research online and found that blue color corrector is used to cancel orange tones, and give a cooler appearance. My very problem is that my foundation keeps appearing too orange on my skin. So, I tested it out. I used a darker foundation than I would normally use, to amplify the results so I could see how it would work and I was astounded. I used Bare Minerals liquid mineral foundation in the color light beige 09 to test, left my real skin showing, and mixed the foundation with the corrector. The color corrector itself is elf cameo color corrector in the shade blue. It comes in a lip gloss like tune, with an applicator wand built into the cap, very similar to a lipgloss. The bristles at the end of the brush are soft, and are shaped quadrillarerally so they're is a broad sweeping side and a pinpoint accurate side, perfect for wide plates of the face or hard to reach crevices like the nose area. The consistency of the contents are the same as concealer and apply the same. But it really is a very pigmented blue. As close to the primary color as you can get. But once blended with the foundation it neutralizes the orange tones and it looks exactly like skin. It matched my skin tone. It looked like my real skin had nothing on it. I have found a product I never knew I needed but fixed a problem I've had the entire time I've worn make up. Foundation has always been the hardest thing for me to match qnd now its a breeze! I can adjust it however I need to. This is a fantastic product, it's affordable, avaidables at most retailers and I highly recommend
